Blog 5: Wayne Bennetts - a Role Model & Inspiration to All

Family Values
Wayne Bennett lived with an alcoholic father who gambled all their families money away. The experience of being an outcast made Bennett see and treat everyone equal never judging people by their background. Bennett's family where seen as outcasts and where looked down on. Since his father gambled, Bennett went to work at the age of 13. He always kept on top of his school work as well. At the age of 15, Bennett was excepted into the police force. He never gave up, always moving forward and doing the best he could.

How did Wayne Bennett deal with suffering?
Wayne Bennett now has three children of his own. His oldest is disabled and his youngest was born with muscular problems. Even with two of his children disabled, Wayne Bennett couldn't be prouder of his family. Bennett never complains about the suffering in his life, he just pushes forward, always forgiving.

Influence on Others
Wayne Bennett received Coach of the year in 1997, also in the same year Bennett was awarded Father of the year. Wayne Bennett has been coaching for over 20 years! He is known to his team as a second father and a best friend. Bennett inspires so many people, and never gives up. Never looking down on others and treating people as equals influences others to do good and treat others respectable. Some people believe that Bennett influences all in one way or another.

How is Wayne Bennett a Role Model to Others?
Wayne Bennett would have to be the best role model of all. This is because he is honest, someone who is always moving forward, helps others, never puts anyone down or letting anyone down. Bennett doesn't drink or gamble and is patient with every thing. Constantly helping people by giving advise and tips on everything and anything.

What quality Do You Want in the World or in Yourself that Wayne Bennett has?
If I could give the world one of the qualities that Wayne Bennett has, it would be the one where no one looks down on anyone, where no one judges someone by their looks or clothes. The world would be a better place if people didn't judge. One quality I would like is patience and persistence in everything I do.
